Bepro Esports

Bepro Esports was a competitive gaming platform that served Spain’s esports community for three years. I co-founded the company with two partners and spent over a year designing and developing the website from the ground up as its sole developer and web designer.
The idea began as an entry for a competition organised by Banco Santander in Spain, where we won first prize for innovation. The funding helped us turn the concept into a working platform and establish the business.

Players could compete individually or create teams, join leagues across multiple divisions, and enter tournaments in a range of formats. A progression system rewarded participation with experience points and virtual currency, which players could redeem for gaming hardware in the platform’s shop.

A central part of the experience was the match management system. Each match gave opposing players or teams a shared space to coordinate and report results, with a private chat to resolve issues directly. If they could not reach an agreement, a built-in dispute process allowed players to report rule violations and submit supporting evidence for review.

The platform attracted teams such as Valencia Esports and other recognisable names in Spain’s competitive gaming scene in 2017. These competitions brought significant peaks in visitor traffic and helped Bepro reach a wider audience.

After I left the company, the platform was acquired by a larger business and discontinued around six months later.
